Runwell Hospital Football Club is the oldest section of Runwell Hospital Sports and Social Club being formed in 1946 by two members of staff, Bert Bone and Sid Burrell who started the club off with the morals and ethics it is still run under today.

With the demise of the old Runwell Hospital and the new St Lukes Park housing development by Countryside Homes, we thought it prudent to move with the changes, slightly re-brand and change the name of the club to “Runwell Sports FC” in our 70th birthday year 2016.

We treat all our teams, from the u6’s to our adult mens 1st team, with the same respect and interest as we hope for the youth of today to be the 1st team of the tomorrow, as we see our club being a family with many families represented in various teams. Brothers, sisters and dads being involved with playing and mums running socials and actively involved behind the scenes.

We invite either players or teams looking to join a forward-thinking club, with great facilities of a high standard and with plans and resources for new facilities in the near future, to contact us for more information through our website or ring Chairman Jason Emery– 07915 066663.
